The CVSA is Urging Congress to Fund New Study on Truck Crash Causation

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance has written a letter to the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee asking to fund a study on commercial crash causation to be conducted by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The last study of this kind was done in 2001-2003 and with the advancement of technology and many other factors changing since then, causes for crashes need to be looked at again. Keeping up to date on current crash causation is a vital part of safety enforcement programs and with identifying causes and trends.
