Truckers Filling Stores in Florida to get Ahead of Storm

Large retailers are putting their emergency response centers into high-gear to stay ahead of the storm in Florida. Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Walmart are filling up supplies and necessities in their Florida stores and will continue to do so until the storm’s landfall or until it becomes unsafe for truckers to be in there. With a forecast of Hurricane Dorian to reach Category 4 (or maybe 5) companies are making sure that people who are staying are taken care of. The logistics companies handling the situation are sending in as many trucks as needed to fulfill the needs but are also tracking wind speeds and rain levels to make sure their truckers are safe.
