Next year, Volvo Trucks is bringing its Dynamic Steering system into North America. This system was introduced in Europe in 2013 and reduces steering force by up to 85%. This system and its ease of steering reduces driver fatigue and muscular pain to arms, neck, and shoulders. They are hoping this system catches on because it makes driving a big truck easier. They are also hoping that making it easier to drive a big truck appeals to new drivers and piques the interest out there, bringing more drivers into the industry.
