From six manufacturing facilities, almost 3,500 Mack Truck unioned employees have gone on strike. As negotiations are going on, the facilities in Maryland, Florida, and Pennsylvania are down employees. The striking workers are looking for better benefits packages and more pay. The president of Mack Trucks was hoping they could discuss negotiations while the employees kept working, but the employees want to be treated with the respect they’ve earned by helping Mack succeed in the industry.
