Truckers Combating Human Trafficking with Michigan State Police

During the month of January, the Michigan State Police are inspecting semi-trucks at weigh stations to bring awareness to human trafficking. Truckers are on the road all day long, every day, leaving them in a good place to see the signs of this problem. To help find a solution and hopefully save lives, the Michigan State Police is knocking on the doors of trucks to ask questions and talk to the drivers. Working with Truckers Against Trafficking since 2015, and with some of the surrounding states, the Michigan State Police has become a national leader in fighting this problem.
