Volvo Trucks has given its first glimpse at the class-8 battery-electric truck during an event at the TEC Equipment dealership in California. Since announcing the Volvo Low Impact Green Heavy Transport Solutions (LIGHTS) in 2018, Volvo is now showcasing its progress on electric trucks. The LIGHTS project is a collaboration between 15 partners and is looking at taking the green truck initiative into its entirety.
