Commercial Drivers Believe There is an Increase in Distracted Driving

A recent online survey taken by commercial drivers, states that they believe the number of distracted drivers out there is on the rise. The survey was done by Harris Interactive and commissioned by Netradyne, a company that specializes in AI technology and data associated with commercial fleet safety. Their results show that 20% of truckers feel that other truckers will rely on technology more than their own judgment, causing distractions and accidents. Over 50% of truckers feel that smart tech is good for driver safety and help them stay focused. After all the data is said and done, with all of the new safety technology out there, 81% of the truckers feel that distracted driving is on the rise.
