Study Shows Hair Drug Test Could put 300,000 Truckers out of Work

Two professors from the University of Central Arkansas have released the results of their study involving drug testing on truckers. Turns out, if a hair drug test was required over a urinalysis then around 300,000 truck drivers would be fired because a hair drug test catches more drugs then the current requirement of testing urine. Research for this study started a year ago and was paid for by The Trucking Alliance. According to this study, there are 300,000 truckers out there who should not be behind the wheel of an 80,000-pound truck. The hair drug test costs more money but is more accurate.
