Over 50 college students are going to be getting almost $150,000 in scholarships for the 2020-21 school year. The Truckload Carriers Association Scholarship Fund will be helping those college students who are taking an interest in the trucking industry. Each recipient must be an upstanding student attending a four-year college and have a family member associated with the TCA.
This year, they had received the most applications for scholarships and six judges went through them looking at specific criteria. The criteria included GPA, major, hours worked, extracurricular activity, and others. The highest winning recipient was Graham Baner with $6,250 and Austin Wagner came in second with $4,500.
