More Bridges that Truckers Just Don’t Like

The Confederation Bridge spans eight miles across the Abegweit Passage and is Canada’s longest bridge. It connects Prince Edward Island with New Brunswick and is over ice-covered water at times. On windy days the bridge will be closed to truckers over long periods of time.

The Verranzzano-Narrows Bridges is a suspension bridge connecting Staten Island and Brooklyn in New York City. This double-decker bridge has seven lanes on the upper level and six on the lower level. The elevation and traffic make this bridge a dread for truckers to cross.
