Highway Patrol in Indianapolis are Helping Truckers

State troopers out on patrol Tuesday morning were looking for distracted drivers and anyone committing driving violations. They were also using this time to hand out tickets to those who make it difficult for truck drivers to stop. Large trucks can not stop instantly and the highway patrol was out reminding drivers of this. A trucker from Carter Express volunteered his time to drive a trooper around, showing him the perspective of what truckers see and to help spot people who were driving recklessly.

This type of patrol may become a state wide thing and Indiana might join the ranks of other states who help truckers stay safe.
