TravelCenters of America has been given Truckers Against Trafficking’s Champion Award in the Organization category. This award recognizes TAT’s partners whose efforts and actions follow through with ending human trafficking. Some of the work TravelCenters did for this cause included raising over $110,000 in 2019 and continuing to raise money and awareness into 2020, training their employees to notice signs of human trafficking, and they are a distribution point across the country to display information and posters about this problem.
