The 2020 Walcott Truckers Jamboree at the World’s Largest Truckstop off Iowa 80 is going virtual this year. A large in-person event is not going to be allowed in Iowa this year, according to the Governor, so the event promoters had to get creative. There will be an online truck beauty contest, an antique truck show, and a trucker’s pet contest. Truckers are encouraged to register and send in photos for each of these “shows” as prizes are still being awarded. The people putting on the Jamboree want to keep the tradition going to show truckers how much they are needed and appreciated. From July 9-11, they will also be offering free meals to truckers.
