The Minnesota Trucking Association has named Scott Smith the 2020 Minnesota Driver of the Year. Smith currently drivers for BarOle Trucking, an intermodal carrier out of Roseville. He’s racked up 4.6 million safe miles in his 43 years of commercial driving. BarOle nominated Smith because of his commitment to safety. He also demonstrates his safety protocols to new drivers to start them down the right path. The award gave Smith a trophy, $500, a Kwik Trip gift card, and a personalized leather jacket.
