The Northampton Community College out of Tannsersville, Pennsylvania, is getting a $161,468 federal grant for its Truck Driver Training program. The USDOT’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is giving grants to educational institutions around the country as part of a program to enhance commercial vehicle safety and prevent crashes. This grant will allow students to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to become a safe commercial driver.
