With the local demand of truck drivers being high, more South Dakota schools are putting out more ways to pull people into the driver’s seat. For its fourth year, Capital University Center in Pierre is offering a Class A CDL Test Preparation Class November 22-23. There is also a Class B CDL offered in January for those who want to drive buses. The CDL class is instructed by Chad Rogers, a 20-plus veteran in the trucking industry who was the first in the state to become a Certified Driver Trainer through NATMI.
