There is a demand for truck drivers out there and Marion Technical College out of Marion County, Florida is doing its part to fill the need. Students are learning the skills needed to become professional truck drivers. A simulator is used to teach students the hazards that can occur out there on the road as well as driving at night. They also get behind the wheel of a big rig and learn the ins and outs about driving and safety. Each student drives a minimum of 1,000 miles with a portion of those being at night.
