There’s a truck driver shortage out there and a group of colleges in Indiana will be doing their part to put an end to it. Conexus Indiana and Ivy Tech Community College are launching a new program to pump out new truck drivers across five campuses starting January 2021 with an additional 8 campuses coming on board later in the year. The program was a collaboration between Conexus Indiana, Ivy Tech, Indiana Motor Truck Association, and Venture Logistics. The curriculum and CDL will be covered by federal student loans and they are working to make it eligible for Workforce Ready Grants. Click the link below to learn more about this program.
