Along with the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District and Western Milling, the Southern California Gas Company has planned to deploy 30 new low-emission trucks. The trucks will be fueled by renewable natural gas that will virtually eliminate pollutants and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The 12-liter Cummins Westport engine is what will be running these trucks and is the first of its kind to meet the standards put forth by the California Air Resources Board.
