The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have given us its U.S. Winter Outlook. Truck drivers should always have an idea of what kind of weather they are heading into and if the conditions are going to be safe or not. According to the NOAA, winter in the South is going to be warmer and drier, and winter in the North will be cooler and wetter. The Gulf states and running up into the Southeast will have warmer-than-normal temperatures. It is also predicted that Hawaii and parts of Alaska will have warmer temperatures.
