The Alliance for Driver Safety and Security (The Trucking Alliance), submitted a statement to Capital Hill regarding safety issues in the trucking industry.
The statement included information involving; which companies and trucks should have ELDs, how drug tests are performed and keeping drug users off the roads, keeping the age restriction for drivers at 21, large trucks adhering to a maximum speed limit, and installing collision mitigation systems in commercial trucks.
