The United States Department of Transportation is letting truckers know that the Food ad Drug Administration does not certify how much THC is in CBD. Even though a label states that there is a very small amount of THC (the ingredient in marijuana that causes hallucinations) in some CBD products, these labels are not checked by the federal government and are not wholly accurate. So, if a driver takes a drug test and is found positive of having THC in their system an alibi of only using CBD products will not be accepted as a reason.
