Last week the Governor of Utah put out an executive order stating that all people entering Utah must fill out a travel declaration form. Travelers will receive a text message containing a link to the form via the wireless emergency alert system. The form asks who you are, where you are from, what you are doing in Utah, where you’ve been recently, and how you are feeling.
After much-noted backlash, the Governor decided to put out an amended executive order, which supersedes the original declaration, giving a list of those who are exempt from filling out the form. Those exempt include commercial vehicle drivers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and healthcare providers.
