Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao put out a call to the transportation industry to help stop human trafficking. The United States Department of Transportation’s initial goal was to get “100 Pledges in 100 Days” from organizations around the country and they have currently announced that they have doubled their goal. Efforts are still going to get more of the transportation industry involved with fighting this crime and don’t look to stop any time soon.
