The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s Operation Safe Driver Week starts today, Monday, July 12 and runs through Friday, July 18. Law enforcement will be keeping an eye out for commercial vehicle drivers and passenger vehicle drivers that are driving dangerously and erratically. This year’s focus will be on speeding and extra warnings and citations will be given out. During March and April, there were fewer cars on the roads, leading to more speeding, but the vehicles are coming back out in full swing and everyone needs to slow back down and share the road respectfully and legally.
