Texas Governor Greb Abbott is making sure essential supplies get through to areas that were hit by Hurricane Hanna in a timely manner. He has waived certain regulations for commercial truckers in the state of Texas that will allow truckers to keep going and deliver supplies where they are needed most. Hurricane Hanna was upgraded to a Category 1 hurricane and Abbott issued a disaster declaration for 32 counties in the area as it made landfall on Padre Island.
