The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance is having its annual International Roadcheck on September 9-11. In March 2020, the CVSA had postponed it due to the current pandemic, it is now at a later date than normal. The International Roadcheck is a three-day event where law enforcement makes sure commercial vehicles comply with all federal regulations in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. These inspections are done in high volume at weigh stations and fixed locations around each country.
This year, special emphasis will be put on driver requirements. Last year, with 3.36 million inspections conducted there were over 900,000 driver violations and almost 200,000 had out-of-service conditions. Click the link below to learn more about this.
