The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has denied Pronto.ai’s application for exemption to the current Hours of Service Rules. The exemption asked for not having to follow the 11-hour rule and the prohibition against driving after the 14th hour when coming on duty. They were asking to be able to use their equipment while driving up to 13 hours within 15 consecutive hours after coming on duty.
