Starting with a degree in art at the East Los Angeles College and leaving that behind to become a trucker in 2000, Arnulfo Gonzalez decided he could do both at the same time. While waiting for his load to be ready, he had outlined his current piece of art on the back of his trailer. While listening to classical music, he’s created masterpieces which include a jellyfish, Jesus, and a horse.
While showing off his creations to the heavy traffic of LA, onlookers post much of his art on their social media accounts getting his art out to the world. When it’s time to wash his truck, people nearby compliment him on his talent before the picture is gone. Once he’s got a blank canvas again, he sprays the back of his truck with cooking spray to help quickly gather muck.
