Just this previous week, two men jumped into a creek near Hunter Park to save a truck driver from drowning. Sam Blackburn and Colby Young met for the first time while saving the the life of truck driver Kenneth Pullen. Pullen thinks he blacked out causing his truck to steer into a creek. Blackburn jumped in after him, opened the door and found Pullen was almost submerged underwater. Young showed up seconds later and the two held Pullen’s head above water and waited for an emergency crew to arrive with assistance.

Now, Pullen says he’s a lucky man to be alive and thanks his two guardian angels. He and his family are very thankful to Blackburn and Young who saved him from drowning. Pullen has decided to retire from trucking and go fishing.
