Kathy Green and Marie Green of Fremont, Ohio, have donated their father’s 1974 Diamond Reo semi to the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum. With a long hauling career involving steel and refrigerated foods, James Frazier’s life involved a lot of miles. Quite a few of those were spent with his wife Eileen who never drove but earned her CDL so she could legally ride along for the journey and the company.
James bought his brand new Diamond Reo in 1974 and kept it in pristine condition until he died in 1994. Not wanting to give it up, Eileen kept it in her garage until her death in January of this year. With his military background adding to the story of this semi, the sisters decided to donate it to the trucking museum in Walcott, Iowa.
