With new road projects, comes new opposition. For the proposed Mobile River Bridge and Bayway project, the Alabama Department of Transportation is considering a one-way toll to help cover the costs. Officials in Mobile say they are confident the state of Alabama will keep tolls low for their citizens with talks about a discount for frequent drivers and a possible free route for locals.
