John and Kathy Vicars were recipients of the 2019 Wheelon Award in Garland City, Utah. They were made grand marshals and led the Wheat and Beet Days parade in June. Together they own Vicars Trucking and Kathy owns JK Trucking. This last May, they were put on the cover of Utah Game Warden magazine with an article pertaining to their activities involving children with disabilities and wounded warriors. When they have a moment away from their trucking companies, the Vicars give these people guided hunting tours on their land west of Nucor.
