The American Trucking Associations has delivered a congratulatory letter to the 427 truck drivers who have qualified for the 2019 National Truck Driving Championships and National Step Van Driving Championships. Each of these drivers has had an accident-free year of driving and won their state-level driving championships for their vehicle class. At the David L. Lawrence Convention Center August 14-17 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, these drivers will compete for the top spots at truck driving Championships. The competition includes written exams about protocols and rules, an inspection to identify defects, and a challenging driving course.
