Wilbanks Trucking Services out of Artesia, N.M., has been chosen to haul and deliver the White House’s annual Christmas tree. From Carson National Forest in northern New Mexico all the way to the Capitol, the tree will travel roughly 1,800 and be accompanied by 70 other trees that will be displayed around Washington D.C. The Wilbanks crew will make stops along their route to further promote the beauty of New Mexico, what their company is about, and the tree itself. Delivery will be made on November 25 where the drivers will install the tree at the Capitol Building and attend a ceremony.
