Heartland Express, out of Iowa, has purchased Millis Transfer, out of Wisconsin, for approximately $150 million. Millis got its start as a small beer distributor and has now become a very successful trucking company in the Upper Midwest. It also has facilities all over the United States and runs a driving school that is also in many locations. Heartland Express has welcomed everyone who works at Millis and is looking forward growing a business together.
