Hosted by the Fresno State Craig School of Business, the 30th annual California Family Business Awards has given one of its nine awards to Young’s Commercial Transfer out of Porterville, California. This 84 year old business was one of nearly one hundred businesses nominated for this award. The nine winners were chosen based on criteria including family participation and working with the community. Young’s has made itself into one of the largest agriculture hauling trucking companies and has a staff of 100 and, depending on the season, 150 to 300 drivers.
