The Mike Russell Trucking Image award honors those in the industry who have helped advocate for a positive image in trucking. Each year it is given to one fleet executive, one state trucking association, one motor carrier, and one professional truck driver. This year the award was given to Covenant Transport, the Minnesota Trucking Association, Kevin Burch of Jet Express Inc., and Steven Fields of YRC Freight. The award is named after the late Mike Russell, an industry advocate and former ATA vice president of public affairs.
