The trucking industry’s research institute, the American Transportation Research Institute, has released its annual Top Industry Issues report. For the third year in a row, driver shortage tops the list of the top ten critical issues facing the trucking industry. The results of this survey came from over 2,000 responses from motor carriers and commercial drivers.
Following driver shortage on the list is hours of service, third was driver compensation, fourth was detention at facilities, and rounding out the top five was available parking. Click the link below to view the full list.
