Plus.ai is teaming up with the Minnesota Department of Transportation to test autonomous trucks in Minnesota’s tough winter conditions. The provider of self-driving trucking technology will be using MnROAD’s cold-weather pavement testing facility. To get the full-scale of preparing autonomous vehicles for roads, testing in all climates is imperative to its success. By working together, autonomous vehicles will be put through a true tough winter test, and MNDOT will learn more about how they can improve their winter safety systems.
