TravelCenters of America Inc. is covering the fuel costs for the 2019 Capitol Christmas Tree’s journey. The tree will be cut down Nov. 6 in New Mexico’s Carson National Forest, travel about 2,000 miles, and be placed on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington D.C. Wilbanks Trucking Services is hauling the tree along with a second truck hauling smaller companion trees. There will be stops along this route for community celebrations and for spectators to see the tree. TA will be providing fuel for both trucks on this round-trip journey.
