Smith Transport got its start when Barry Smith wanted to build the trucking company of his dreams in 1982. Now, the company has around 1,000 trucks and Smith has purchased his 3,000th. The black truck has the number ‘3000’ on it along with the company’s logo. First-class magazine and the corporate office of Peterbilt were onhand to do a story about this milestone.
