The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance is accepting nominations for the International Driver Excellence Award (IDEA). This award is given to drivers who go above and beyond their normal duties and excel at safe operations and compliance as a commercial driver. Criteria includes 25 cumulative years of safe driving, no felonies, no suspensions, and no driver violations in the past three years. The nomination period is open until December 13, 2019, and the winner will be publicly recognized during the CVSA Workshop in Texas on April 20, 2020.
