The Hess Corporation has been around for many years and one of its greatest and continuing legacies is the Hess Toy Truck. After the first gas station opened, Leon Hess wanted to make sure families had access to an affordable toy for the holidays so he came up with the Hess Toy Truck which is now one of the largest selling toys on the internet. Now, the older trucks can get a pretty penny when they are in excellent condition which also includes the original packaging.
The first truck introduced was the Hess Tanker truck and one in mint condition, in the original box, is valued at $1800. Hess made around 150,000 of them and they are incredibly rare.
