The American Transportation Research Institute has given us some numbers to show how trucks are doing out there on the roads during this health crisis. By using GPS from over 1 million trucks, their data shows that trucks are still moving, and they are moving faster than usual. With the lack of cars in New York, truck speeds have more than doubled going from an average of 16 MPH to 38 MPH.
