The Arizona Department of Transportation is fast-tracking a near $4 million truck parking project to give drivers more safe places to park. 38 new truck parking spots will be added to the Haviland Rest Area along I-40 west of Kingman, 22 spaces to the eastbound rest area and 16 to the westbound rest area. The project will be started within the next week and is scheduled to be finished in July. Currently, truckers are having a hard time finding safe and clean places to park all around the country and this is Arizona’s way of helping them during this health crisis.
