Convoy has announced they have teamed up with Feeding America to deliver undeliverable food and beverages to food banks around the country. By using their Digital Freight Network and MealConnect technology they will be able to connect with truckers who have rejected shipments of food or beverages and find them the nearest food bank to drop it off at. Along with making sure food doesn’t go to waste and is put to good use, the trucker is taken care of by being compensated for the extra stop and given the appropriate paperwork showing the contribution.
