Auburn University is planning a new facility for the researchers in the GPS and Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory. This facility will be directed toward autonomous vehicles research and be located at Auburn’s National Center of Asphalt Technology test track. A multi-bay garage will be part of the new facility along with lifts for commercial trucks and regular cars. It will also include some office space, a conference room, and an observation area looking out over the test track. This will be one of the few research facilities in the nation analyzing autonomous vehicles and data that is attached to a test track. Click the link below to learn more about this new facility.
