Friday, July 31 is the last day to put in a nomination for the Transition Trucking: Driving for Excellence award. This award is given to a deserving veteran who has successfully transitioned into the trucking industry. The nomination period opened on June 10 and is ending tomorrow. This group of candidates will be narrowed down to the Top 10 on September 1 based on the materials supplied with each nomination. The winner will be announced on December 18 at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in the Hall of Flags. They will receive the winning prize of a Kenworth T680 truck.
