Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy has shown us that those polled in Florida have high opinions for truck drivers and their trucks. A survey was conducted from July 20-23 that asked those on the Florida voter registration list their opinions about trucks before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Of the 625 voters statewide, 57% had a positive attitude toward trucks, 16% had negative feelings toward them and 27% had no opinion. During the pandemic, 84% had a positive attitude toward truck drivers, 6% had negative feelings, and 10% had no opinion.
During the pandemic, truck drivers were those essential workers that kept our country rolling along and this health crisis helped bring out their important role in society. Click the link below to read the full survey results.
